Anna is Head of Libraries Service at Essex County Council, where she leads a countywide network of libraries focused on community engagement, inclusion, learning and wellbeing. Anna started working in the homeless sector and has over 20 years' experience in public services, housing and customer-facing operations, with a strong track record of improving access to services for vulnerable and disadvantaged communities.
Anna is passionate about reducing inequality and helping people overcome barriers to independence and opportunity. Her professional background includes leadership roles in housing, customer services and community services, giving her extensive experience in partnership working, governance, service improvement and strategic leadership.
As a Trustee of Vision Care for Homeless People, Anna is committed to supporting the charity's mission of improving access to eye care for people experiencing homelessness, helping individuals improve their health, wellbeing and quality of life.
