The Body Doctor supports VCHP in its local charity work, with a generous donation.

In a bid to support our vulnerable communities, The Body Doctor has made a generous donation to Vision Care for Homeless People’s one-year Domiciliary Pilot Project which aims to extend the model of “Taking eye care to people affected by homelessness where they are”, working with two teams of Specsavers Home Visits domiciliary contractors, to provide a free of charge eye care service in hostels and centres across West and East Yorkshire.

Sam Wymer, Co-founder of The Body Doctor, was proud to hand over a product donation worth £2,500 to help this service to improve eye health in the local West Yorkshire region. The donation consisted of 120 bottles of The Eye Doctor Hypochlorous Eyelid Cleansing Spray, a hypoallergenic spray with antibacterial properties, and 120 bottles of The Eye Doctor Intensive Relief Eye Drops. These products are designed to offer relief from common eye conditions, providing much-needed care to those who may not have regular access to eye health services.

Sam emphasised the significance of this contribution, stating: “We’re committed to supporting this service for the benefit of our local community. Eye health is often overlooked, especially for vulnerable individuals, and we’re thrilled to offer products that will make a real difference.”

Tony Wing, Project Manager for VCHP, expressed his gratitude, noting the positive impact of the donation: “This support from The Body Doctor allows us to extend our services further, ensuring that more people can receive essential eye care treatment. Access to proper eye health services is a challenge for many of the people we work with, and this donation will go a long way in providing relief, to those most at need.”
