Fundraising is a great way to get involved in our work to champion the right to sight for all people experiencing homelessness.
From cake sales or community quizzes to sponsored challenges, as an individual, with friends, in your community or workplace, there are plenty of ways that you can help by raising much-needed funds.

World Homeless Day and World Sight Day
World Homeless Day and World Sight Day both fall in October and provide a great opportunity to raise awareness and funds to support our work. Join us this October in challenging inequalities in eyecare.

Whether you already know what you want to do, or you know you want to fundraise but don’t know how to start, we are here to support you. There are plenty of exciting ways to get involved for Vision Care – bake sales, quizzes, a 70’s & 80’s night, a hike, a sleep out, a step challenge or a Glasses MOT promotion.

Supporter stories
The Inner Wheel in Gloucester hosted a Murder Mystery evening which was a fundraiser for Vision Care. A group of actors performed the story- and the audience was invited to work out 'who dunnit'?
Hayley, founder and optometrist with CBTR Opticians hosted a fundraiser in aid of Vision Care, offering a free eye examination and styling consultation to customers over the course of a month, in return for a donation to Vision Care.
‘Since opening CBTR Opticians in 2023, being a pillar of the community has been at the heart of everything we do. Raising money for Vision Care, rather than charging for eye examinations throughout the month, felt like the perfect opportunity to raise awareness and support such an incredible cause’
Jo organised a 70’s 80’s night at her community hall in aid of Vision Care. With retro cocktails, great throwback tunes, inflatable guitars, space hopper races and a fashion parade, much fun was had, whilst raising funds to help us provide free eyecare through our clinics.
‘My eyesight is precious to me, it's my access to so many things and I can't imagine a day without it. I'm fortunate to be able to access regular sight check-ups but for people experiencing homelessness homeless this isn't usually an option. I organised a 70s & 80s night to fundraise for Vision Care as I admire what they offer in my local community.
